If you are anything like me, Summer is the season that invites you outside for late afternoon cocktails on a daily basis.
For a Summer Outdoor setting we’ve been inspired by the latest Dulux Forecast ‘Kinship’ which draws together a perfect colour palette of earthy hues with cosy neutral shades.

All of these spicy tones remind me of a warm Morocco setting where you would often see sherbet pink skies and sandy or red dusty earth. So I’ve turned that imagined scene on its head by bringing the earthy red (Dulux Tikitiki) on the walls, and a subtle pink (Dulux Prebbleton) on the floor.
These colours especially look beautiful balanced with lush green planting, the green brings a fresh element to the look. We have used this (believe it or not) fake palm tree that can be used outdoors- and no maintenance required! That’s my type of planting!
I love how this day bed is long enough that you can double it as a coffee table too, with a board or yummy bits and pieces and a huge jug of spicy sangria.
